Our process
We use professional non-marring tools (air wedges, long-reach rods, slim jims for some platforms). No drilling. No broken windows. We quote $49–$129 on the phone before dispatch. If we somehow can’t open it (very rare — under 1% of jobs), you don’t pay.

Toyota, Honda, Ford, Chevy, Hyundai, Kia, Nissan, Mazda — typically 5–10 min on-site. Newer luxury (BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Lexus, Volvo) — 10–15 min, sometimes more. Smart-key push-start cars are usually faster than older ones because we don’t have to fish for a key.
Pricing — flat-rate, no surprises
$49–$79 daytime (8am–8pm Mon–Sat) for most cars at most locations. $79–$129 after-hours, weekend, or outside-Durham. We quote on the phone — no “diagnostic fee” or hourly games.

What if the keys are inside but I can see them on the seat?
Standard lockout — we open the door without touching the keys. They stay where they are.
Can you tell me whether to wait or call CAA first?
Honestly: if you have a CAA membership and don’t need to be somewhere in the next 90 min, CAA is free. If you need to be somewhere now, or it’s late, or your keys are lost (not just locked inside), call us. We’re typically faster.
What if my keys are locked in the trunk?
Most modern cars: we open the trunk with the door open, takes the same 5–10 min. Older cars without a trunk-release inside: we use trunk-specific tools. Same flat price.
