How long does Jeep key replacement take?
- Spare key (you have a working original) — 30 to 45 minutes start to finish
- Lost key (no working key) — 60 to 120 minutes including immobilizer read
- Restricted programming models (Jeep luxury / sport trims) — add 15 to 30 minutes for VSP seed code

Common Jeep key questions
What years of Jeep do you cover?
All years — from older transponder turn-keys through 2025 push-start smart keys. Each model uses different programming protocols but we handle them all with our Autel IM508, Lonsdor K518, and Yanhua Mini ACDP equipment.
Is the aftermarket Jeep key as good as OEM?
Yes — same chip inside, same lock/unlock/push-start function. The only difference is the shell — OEM has the Jeep logo, aftermarket is plain black. Aftermarket saves $50-100. We carry both options.
Can I program a Jeep key myself if I buy one online?
For older transponder keys (pre-2015), sometimes. For modern smart keys, no — the immobilizer programming requires Jeep-restricted software and NASTF certification. Bring us the online-ordered key and we program for labour only ($99-149).
What if I lost both my Jeep keys?
All-keys-lost (AKL) service. We read your immobilizer module on-site to extract the security code and program new keys from scratch. No tow needed for 95% of Jeep models. $349-$429 for AKL.
