The 5-step Honda AKL process
- Verify ownership — registration + photo ID
- Read the immobilizer module — connect Autel IM508 to OBD port, retrieve pin code from Honda IMOES system
- Cut the new mechanical blade — code derived from VIN, cut on our HPC Blue Punch or Triton
- Program the new transponder/smart key — write the new key to Honda’s immobilizer module
- Test all functions — lock, unlock, panic, push-start; hand over with warranty card
