Step 1: Confirm both keys are actually gone
Check your home, car interior (if accessible), bag, jacket pockets. Most “lost keys” are found within 24 hours. If a spare exists, use it and program a replacement at your leisure for $179-249.
Step 2: No spare? You need all-keys-lost (AKL) service
AKL is when no working key remains. The car’s immobilizer needs a brand-new authorized key. We do this on-site for 95% of vehicles. The dealer requires you to tow and pays $1,000-2,000 for the same work.
Step 3: Call us BEFORE calling the dealer
The dealer will tell you it’s only possible at their shop. That’s incorrect for most makes — we are NASTF VSP-certified for restricted brands and can do the job on-site. Call (416) 676-9142.
